These terms and conditions govern all purchases made from the Tallah website, social media and showroom. This agreement is drafted in full compliance with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No.181 of 2022 and Egyptian E-Commerce Law No.15 of 2024.
These terms work together with our separate Delivery Policy and Returns & Exchange Policy. All three documents form part of your agreement with Tallah.
By placing an order with Tallah, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms.
Order Process
- All orders are subject to: Availability and Confirmation of the order price.
- You will receive an automatic order confirmation email immediately after purchase. This is an acknowledgement of your order, not an acceptance.
- We will send you a second separate confirmation email within 48 hours to formally accept your order and confirm production has begun.
- We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason prior to acceptance, in which case you will receive a full 100% refund.
Pricing & Payment
- All prices displayed on the website are final and include all applicable taxes.
- Prices are displayed in EGP for local customers and USD for international customers.
- We accept Vodafone Cash, InstaPay and Cash On Delivery.
- No payment will be taken for fully bespoke orders until we have confirmed and agreed all details with you.
Made To Order & Bespoke Items
This section applies to all veils and handmade items, and is explicitly permitted under Egyptian law:
- Production lead times are estimates provided in good faith. We will always inform you immediately if we anticipate any delay.
- It is the customer’s sole responsibility to place their order with sufficient time before their wedding date. We strongly recommend ordering at least 8 weeks in advance.
- Once production has begun on any made-to-order or bespoke item, no modifications, changes or cancellations can be accepted.
- We will provide you with photos of your completed item for approval prior to dispatch upon request.
Cancellation Rights
Your right to cancel an order is as follows:
- You may cancel any order for any reason at any time before production begins, for a full 100% refund.
- Once production has begun, made-to-order and bespoke items cannot be cancelled.
- For ready-to-ship items, you may cancel up to the point the order is dispatched.
Wedding Date Guarantee
We understand the unique importance of your wedding date.
- If you have provided us with your wedding date and we have confirmed in writing that your order will arrive in time, we will prioritise your order above all others.
- In the extremely unlikely event we are unable to deliver your order in time for your confirmed wedding date, you will be entitled to a full 100% refund, and we will assist you in any way possible to provide a suitable alternative.
Intellectual Property
All designs, images, product descriptions and content on the Tallah website and social media are the exclusive intellectual property of Tallah. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or resell any Tallah design or product.
Customer Obligations
- You agree to provide accurate, complete and correct contact information, shipping address and phone number with your order.
- You agree to be available to receive delivery on the arranged date.
- For bespoke orders you agree to respond to our requests for confirmation or measurements within 5 days, otherwise we reserve the right to cancel your order.
Limitation Of Liability
- Tallah’s maximum total liability for any order shall under no circumstances exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that order.
- We are not liable for any indirect damages, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, emotional distress or third-party costs.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Dispute Resolution
- In the event of any dispute, please contact us first at karim.ahmed1006@gmail.com. We will always attempt to resolve any issue amicably within 7 working days.
- If we are unable to reach an agreement, any dispute will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Giza, Egypt.
- All customers retain the full right to escalate any complaint to the Egyptian Consumer Protection Authority at any time.
General Terms
- We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will not apply to orders already placed.
- These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Tallah. No verbal promises or agreements not stated in writing will be binding.
- If any clause of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining clauses will remain in full effect.
